The Association was formed in 2008 to promote the interests of the Scottish Blackface breed in North America.
The Scottish Blackface breed has made a great contribution towards the economic development of the hill pastures of Scotland, and elsewhere, and but for it, many pastures would produce little of value to humanity.
The breed is one in which flock masters can take great pride and the SBBU encourages membership in our association which endeavors to look after the interests of the breed and Breeders and to promote the potential of this breed to shepherds in North America.
